St. Paul’s Admission Policy complies with the requirements of the Education Act 1998, the Education (Admission to Schools) Act 2018 and the Equal Status Act 2000. In drafting this policy,
the Board of Management of the school has consulted with school staff, the school patron and with parents of children attending the school.

JUNIOR INFANTS - Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2026-2027
(These dates are applicable for admissions to Junior Infants only)
PART 1 – Admissions to the 2026/27 School Year
• The school will commence accepting applications for admission on 8th of October, 2025. You cannot submit a form prior to this date. Forms must be dropped in person to the office.
• The school shall cease accepting applications for admission on 19th November, 2025 at 12 noon.
• The date by which applicants will be notified of the decision on their application is 3rd December, 2025.
• The period within which applicants must confirm acceptance of an offer of admission is 17th December, 2025.
Number of places being made available in the Academic Year 2026/2027 is up to 66 places.

Following acceptance of a place, the parent will be given the opportunity of discussing one to one any Special Educational Needs the child may have with either the Principal or Vice Principal. It is important that this discussion takes place to give the child the best start to school life and allow the school to apply for resources if the need arises.
The school will arrange for an Open Day/s with time slots to allow both the parent and child to visit the school and meet his/her teacher.
Prior to the Open Day the parent will be furnished with an information pack via email.

SENIOR INFANTS TO 6TH CLASS - Application and Decision Dates for admission to 2026-2027
To enrol your child in classes from Senior infants to Sixth class for the academic year 2026/2027 please complete an application form which you will find under the tab titled ‘’Enrolment Application Form’. Pupils must be resident in Ireland at the time of applying.
Forms will only be accepted from October 8th, 2025, from 8.30am onwards. Forms must be dropped in person to the office for the attention of Marion during office hours 8.30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.
All sections must be completed and supporting documents attached, application will not be processed without these documents. Each will be reviewed accordingly.
Applications for Senior Infants to 6th Class, Sept 2026 will not be reviewed until approx. May/June 2026.
NOTE
Completing an application form is neither an offer nor a guarantee of a place in St. Paul’s School.
